like i won't name name's or anything but some of them seem to have a go at anything anyone says and they all have weird convo threads which make no sense and it makes you feel like if you say something they'll go off and laugh at you or something.

Yeah, and much less focused. This forum is pretty much centered on Kaki King and music. The stuff on .ca is a lot broader, which is fine. I pretty much come here to see if anyone's posted any bonus tracks from Japanese imports, and go to .ca for random fun. I kind of did the whole thing backwards though--I feel like a lot people started listening to KK through T&S, but I sort of did the opposite. I had heard some of their stuff before, but wasn't really a huge fan--I thought it was too pop-ish, I guess. I gave them another chance when I heard Kaki guested on the Con, and I'm glad I did. I was pretty much blown away with the arrangements on the album-- there's a lot of craftsmanship in the way the simple riffs and rhythms overlap. Then I started listening to some concerts they posted on archive.org, which introduced to their earlier material/wittiness/how scary their fans are. I hope I'll never be that scary, but now that I'm on all these forums, I'm starting to question myself...

Man, I'm ridiculously excited for their new album.
I can't wait to see what they come up with, especially after the CON!

and of course the con was brilliant, when it first came out i couldn't stop listening to it, no other record has had that effect on me, so i really wonder how the new record will be.

yeah tegan and sara are generally put out solid stuff, but the con was just on another level. like seriously, i think i'd put it in my top 10 albums of all time. i hope the next one won't disappoint...

i think i'm the second one, its not that i dont like them, its just that theyre not my style..

tns used to really annoy me, but i gave them another chance b/c of kaki. (which is funny b/c so many people started listening to kk b/c of tns, but i did the opposite haha)
