The Kaki Family Project

Ok i'll cut the long story short.
We had some things going on at twitter. I came up with the idea to do some photo collage style thing of Kaki Fans to have a picture for the Kaki Family. Cause we obviously can't meet since we are spread all over the world.

To do something like that we might need similar backgrounds where for example everyone stands there with his Kaki CDs or does something Kaki related.. whatever and gets shot

Another idea could be that we stand in front of our cities symbols or something like that. And do a little dia show or even a small movie. Someone whos good at stuff like that could use all our photos and create a little movie scene. Would be lots of fun...

Sadly i don't know a lot of Kaki Fans except for you guys. So it's up to all of us to get it together. The more participate the better!!!

What do you guys think? Any suggestions and ideas are welcome. Even if you think that this is a totally stupid idea speak up.

So...Gießens symbol IS the Mc Donalds. I got my photo all the way

Do we really want to shoot photos in front of a shitty Mc Donalds? I say NO .
I'd rather shoot mine in front of a nice old house from 1537.
Or just on a meadow. Cause i like nature. And Kaki's music is kinda nature to me. Musical landscapes.

We still have to decide what exactly we want.

a) Photo collage (similiar backgrounds or groups of different backgrounds that can merge)
b) small dia show type youtube compatible "movie" where everyone could do whatever he/she likes (more work planning and executing)
c) a REAL little youtube style movie with one or more certain scenes (much more work, hardest one.)

To start off: i like it plain and simple. My favorite is a). Also i am freaking LAZY and untalented. But if you guys have ideas (i know i repeat myself) SHARE them.

i have to say A is my favorite too and yeah that McD, i'm not totally for that either.
i was thinking maybe a train station and if you than just make photos: a photo where there is no movement and the train that leaves or something like this, where the train is kind of blurry and even other people who walk by (just hope that they don't walk in front of your camera.

train one sounds cool but here subways are ugly lol, but it does relate to Kaki's history

Ye we have to work out the details anyways so until now it's still just ideas and general concept.

Amanda may i ask where exactly you are located in ger (next bigger city?)? No train, no s-bahn, no u-bahn?

We could still do different backgrounds. One group doing train stations...one doing the green...one doing ...etc....and merge them all together once we have our photo collection together.

well we're a pretty diverse bunch, especially where we live. so how about we show that instead of making it alll uniform?

and maybe we can take the photos in a place were we were overwhelmed by the music or a place that you think describes a song perfectly.

Here's another idea once we have the photos and the photo collage all gathered.
We take the photo collage as background for a self made framed gold / platinum record. And whoever has the possibility will hand it over to Kaki.

nah i have some, but all of them are on soccer fields...

Everyone just do what suits you. Just two rules. Take the picture horizontal and have at least one Kaki CD with you on the pic.
