Re: loop pedal
If you're a beginner, and you're looking for something good and reliable, not too expensive and functional, I definitely suggest the Boss RC-20 XL. It's the easiest way to learn how to loop. I bought my RC-20 almost six years ago (and I'm still using it!), so I miss some of the XL model functions, e.g. the fact that the XL thingy lets you overdub and then erase the phrases you built one by one, without affecting your first loop. Also, you can record a track without the tap-tempo function and then the pedal can find the beat for you! It has a "reverse track" function (<3) and you can record about 16 minutes of music (if I remember well!)
The RC-20 XL is the one Kaki and Kelli use. It's also the favorite loop pedal of lots of other great guitarists! Whatever you do, DO NOT go for the RC-50 version (the multitrack looper). It's too expensive and the reviews were not that good...If you're looking for a multitrack looper,or you have any questions, let me know!
